ANETTA LUKJANOVA, Kaivopiha, Helsinki
During the Kaivopiha renevation the space also got some art when Anetta Lukjanova painted on the Helsinger staircase a mural representing the street atmosphere of Helsinki.
The painting combines modern and classical elements of Helsinki fueled by Lukjanova’s strong painting techniques. The controlled and serene colour palette of the mural was chosen to fit the environment. The mural still doesn’t go unnoticed since the light reflecting from the left corner of the mural captures the passer-by’s attention and invites to go see the whole mural.
Lukjanova studied classical oil painting at Barcelona Academy of Art. She works in the mediums of drawing, painting and large-scale murals. Her technical skills in realist figurative painting are evident in all of her work.
