Concreate Urban Art Festival – Kajaani 2026

Helsinki Urban Art ry organized Concreate Urban Art Festival for the third time in July 2026. The festival has been arranged before in the capital region, but this time it took place in Kajaani, Northern Finland. During the event, 18 artists both from Finland and abroad collaborated on creating one of the most significant urban art entities in the country. In two weeks, eight large murals were completed on building facades in the Vesitorninmäki area in Kajaani, and three underpasses were painted nearby.

Concreate is part of the Oulu2026 Capital of Culture year and the Kajaani 375 anniversary. In addition, the festival is supported by Kiinteistö Oy Kajaanin Pietari, the Embassy of Spain, the Finnish Swedish Cultural Foundation, The Liszt Institute – Hungarian Cultural Centre, Montana Cans and Cramo.
