Nordic-Baltic residency programme 2024
In the spring and summer of 2024, Helsinki Urban Art organized a residency for Nordic and Baltic street artists. Eight artists altogether came to Helsinki to join the residency and create art in Finland.
Artists created street art in the street art district of East-Pasila and around Helsinki, indoor murals in the association’s event space Kupla in Tapiola, Espoo, and communal space Vapaakaupungin Olohuone. In addition they took part in group exhibitions at Pasila Urban Art Center and other Finnish urban culture projects. Residency offered valuable working prospects, networking possibilities and experience for artists from Nordic-Baltic region.
The project was funded by Nordic Culture Point.
