Itä-Pasila 00520, Part 2 – Photos of Graffiti at Pasila Urban Art Center 11.2. – 3.4.2021
Pasila Gallery, situated in an old railway tunnel, used to be the most important place for painting graffiti. Nowadays there are only remnants of it left, but the memory lives on.
The exhibition consists of photos of graffiti in Pasila in the 1980s and 1990s. The photos are partly chosen by Riku Rämö, partly taken and chosen by Börje Komulainen.
In addition to photographs, the exhibition features the documentary Pasila Gallery from 1991, directed by Sakari Rimminen, which has not been shown publicly for years.
