KATVE POP UP: ANYA – matkalla kotiin

From the old days, from memories. The exhibition tells a story of a girl called Anya, who finds a way into herself. She gets by with wings, a gift of creation and Holy powers.

The paintings are made in candlelight, using light reflecting watercolours. The exhibition space is illuminated respecting this.

Sofia Elohei – inspiration from Pispala, the beyond and world’s of fairytales. 

Sofia Elope is a 26 year old artist, recently moved to Helsinki. Sofia is originally from Eastern Finland but her artistic process has mostly happened in Tampere, where she spent her early adult life. The artist found the fountain of creativity only a few years ago, after which she has started the process you will witness. Her own journey has had an important effect in her art. 

Matkalla kotiin – the way home, is a journey into oneself, the subconscious and body memory. The body knows when it is given a space and circumstances to heal and open new dimensions. Now Sofia is ready to bring a piece of her inner world for others to see.
