PAHA KURKI
“we were trio of two, now we are duo of tree”
“we were trio of two, now we are duo of tree”
Fresh Helsinki based rock-trio, Paha kurki, serves rough riffs and catching pop-melodies. Lyrics deal with sensitively and ironically the soulscape of a young adult, from relationships to challenges of the mind. Bands carefree playing creates a temptation groove and the choruses are crowned with annoyingly catching hooks.
“We listened to the song with Allu in the car. Brain is melting, it echoes in the head, so that the brain is melting.”

PUHELINSEKSI

From the beautiful punk of the 2016 mini-album We miss everything, Puhelinseksi has moved subtly towards deeper tones. In June 2022, the band’s second full-length album Vieraita toisillemme (Svart Records) is a more serious-looking rock album, which reached number 8 on Finland’s Official Physical album list, and Puhelinseksi was selected for YleX radio channel’s Läpimurto 2022 list.
