Stepa
Stepa’s warm and conscious take on the voice of Northern Finnish rap is full of horsepower and high-voltage energy. Today, Stepa’s music increasingly speaks for the dignity of time and life, without forgetting the greatest of forces: peace and love.
Laineen Kasperi & Liian Iso Trio
Laineen Kasperi is known as a rapper, producer, and a performer who shakes the audience’s consciousness. He has worked in almost all areas of art during her career and now comes to Maltsu with her Liian Iso Trio.
Muska & Hot Dogs
Muska began her still-ongoing singing career in 1969, when she was the only Finnish female rock singer. Muska & Hot Dogs, founded in the early 70s, will now come to Malminkartano performing their beloved rock songs from different decades.
Pitsku Posse
Pitsku Posse will open the evening’s diamond-hard rap offering. Pitsku Posse, who hail from Malminkartano, continues Maltsu’s long rap traditions with their honest rhymes.
Maltsuiita ft. Paavo Kurvi
Iita is a barefoot and proud Maltsuian! Maltsuiita (piano and vocals), who will soon graduate from the Sibelius Academy, will bring a diverse musical selection to the start of the evening, together with Paavo Kurvi (bass, vocals, percussions).
Notskijengi
Brazilian pagode samba with local influences! Pagode is a Rio way of spending an evening. Notskijengi, on the other hand, spends their time, for example, relaxing by the campfire – and now at Malminkartanonaukio – playing music.
The event is organized by Helsinki Urban Art ry in collaboration with Kanneltalo.
The event area is accessible. Toilets can be found around the square at the Malmgård and Laiska kissa restaurants.
