MILU CORRECH, Helsinginkatu 21

An inner courtyard mural at Helsinginkatu 21 was made in 2017 by Argentinian Milu Correch An apartment building in Kallio had requested their wall in the inner courtyard to be painted, and the shape of the wall inspired the artist to create a very special composition.

“Drinking mate (and tea) is an important part of the Argentinian culture, which was reflected on this mural”, Correch illustrates. As usual, Correch doesn’t explain the story behind the piece too much, but leaves the interpretation for the viewer.
