Community mosaic at Tapulikaupunki

As a part Taidetta Tapuliin art project, Helsinki Urban Art produced a community mosaic with Tapulikaupunki’s residents.

About 500 local residents participated in the creation of the piece. Workshops were arranged in local schools and in the Tapuli community center. The mosaic consists of 1024 different tiles and is 8,5 meters long.

Helsinki Urban Art’s Taidetta Tapuliin -project produces community art and participatory culture in Tapulikaupunki region as a part  of Helsinki Model -project in 2022-2024. You can read more about Helsinki Model here.
