Community art in Klaukkala

Helsinki Urban Art together with Nurmijärvi’s youth created a community art piece for the underpass in Klaukkala in May 2023. The project was completed in cooperation with the municipality of Nurmijärvi and the youth department.

The theme of the work was a time capsule: what things, objects and phenomena are important in the lives of young people in the 2020s? The assignment resulted in the creation of images such as Eurovision runner-up Käärijä, meme references, and phrases used by young people.
