Open call for exhibitions at Pasila Urban Art Center!

Pasila Urban Art Center is a space dedicated to urban art and events. Entrance is always free of charge and the center is open to visitors on Wed 12 PM–8 PM, Thu & Fri 12 PM–6 PM, and Sat 1 PM–6 PM. In addition to the gallery, Pasila Urban Art center also has an art and paint shop. The gallery space has over 20 meters of hanging space and painting on walls is allowed. We do not charge rent or fees from exhibiting artists, but a 20 % commission will be taken from possible art sales.

2023 exhibitions last approximately 7 weeks and take place between April 5th–December 22nd.

WHO CAN APPLY?

The open call is open to all, but artists with prior experience in graffiti or street art are preferred. You can apply solo or as a group. Please note that if you are applying alone, we might offer you a space from a group exhibition.

HOW TO APPLY?

Send in your free-form application titled ”Exhibition application 2023” to info@helsinkiurbanart.com. In your application, tell us about yourself, your art, your plans regarding your exhibition at Pasila Urban Art Center, and your thoughts on suitable exhibition dates. Attach a portfolio or 1–3 photos of your previous art. Please also mention your website or social media accounts, should you have any.

ART SHOP APPLICATIONS 

In addition to the exhibitions, Pasila Urban Art Center also has an art shop that sells smaller works, prints, zines, jewellery and other products by multiple artists. We are also looking for new items to sell in our shop. You can offer your works to the shop by sending an e-mail with a title “Taidekauppahakemus 2023” at info@helsinkiurbanart.com. In the e-mail, tell us about your art and the price range you had in mind.
