TUULI HUOVILA, bicycle parking garage of the Old Student House

Street and community artist Tuuli Huovila started as a streetartist in 2016 when she joined the art guild G-Rex. G-Rex brings art to urban spaces and it is working towards legal and positive street art culture. Huovila studies art education and she has arranged several mural painting workshops and communal art projects. As a community artist, she especially enjoys creating art together with residents with various materials. She has said, that “I think it is important to bring art to urban spaces, away from galleries and museums, for everyone to see. The city needs to offer space for other things that ads.”
