Välitiloissa

In early November something completely new happens in the heart of Malminkartano, when empty business spaces get new life through art and culture. Väitiloissa festival is organised for the first time from 7th to 9th of November and it spreads throughout the area bringing along music, art, performances and versatile surprises. 

The festival makes visible the possibility of in-between spaces – how unused spaces can turn into communal meeting places, stages for creativity and platforms for trying out new ideas. The program is open-ended on purpose: some of it forms on the spot, so surprises are in store for all visitors. 

All events are free of charge, and you can stop by for a short visit or spend the whole day among art and culture. 

Välitiloissa is organized by Helsinki Urban Art as part of the Helsinki Model project
