OPEN CALL: ARTIST RESIDENCY FOR NORDIC AND BALTIC STREET ARTISTS

Open call for Nordic and Baltic street artists to apply for a residency in Helsinki!

Street artists residing in Nordic (Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Sweden) and Baltic (Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia) countries can now apply for a residency period of two months between April and September of 2024 in Helsinki. The periods are April-May, June-July, August-September.

The residency includes:
-Room in a shared apartment with other artists
-Workspace
-Travel costs
-400 € per diem / month
-Opportunities for creating street art
-Spaces to exhibit your art
-Networking opportunities with Finnish artists and people working in the field of culture

Apply by sending an application in English by November 30 to info@helsinkiurbanart.com. Please include in your application:

-A brief introduction of you and your art
-5 photos of your recent artworks
-Ideas on what you would like to do in the residency
-Which residency period you would prefer
-Information about your travel plan: from where you would travel to Finland
